Since we have moved to Lake Texoma, we have become aware of a tradition that we didn’t know existed. “Burning of the Socks” is an annual event that kicks off “flip flop” season. This event brings out many people to different marinas while providing good, old fashion fun for all ages. “Burning of the Socks” includes a Polar Plunge, Chili Cook-Off, food, dunk tank and many more activities!
So get your toes all pretty and join us at Buncombe Creek Marina, March 16, 2019 from 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM for a day of fun and “flip flops”.
